OUR OCTOBER MEETING WILL BE HELD

DATE: SUNDAY 19 OCTOBER 2014

TIME: 12:30 P.M.

VENUE: ROTORUA ARTS VILLAGE 1240 Hinemaru Street

This month our Guest Speaker will be Waitsu Wu. Waitsu came to New Zealand 25 years ago and has lived in Rotorua most of this time. She is interested in community matters. She is involved with the Multicultural Association and is passionate about helping newcomers settle into the community. Waitsu will speak about her upbringing in Taiwan and her experiences in New Zealand. Waitsu is very enthusiastic about everything she does and always captivates her audiences whether it be one person or a group. I can guarantee you will enjoy your afternoon with us. Everyone is welcome so bring a friend and a plate to share for lunch with us before our guest speaker.

COMING MEETINGS

November will be our end of the year luncheon. Venue yet to be decided. Hasn’t the year gone by fast !!

NATIONAL NEWS

The tours for 2015 have been announced. In late April/May a Garden and Missionary Tour will include Shanghai/Suzhou; Sichuan and Beijing The details can now be found on the website. Judy Livingston has also released her itinerary for the second photographers tour. This tour will visit Sichuan, Tibet and Yunnan. This tour takes place in September. OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST

It is always great to have new visitors to our meetings as well as visitors from neighbouring branches and hopefully we make them feel welcome enough that they will come along again.
