This enclosed garden with memorial stones [tombs] to both George Hogg and Rewi Alley is located in the south of the Shandan city centre, adjacent to Nanhu Park.
A good time to visit is at Qingming or Tomb-sweeping Festival in late March or early April each year. Local schools make a pilgrimage to the graves, speeches are given, and white flowers are left as a mark of respect.
