Studying and researching Rewi Alley: A national standards NCEA package is available for promotions to schools

Units of Learning for the New Zealand Social Studies Curriculum and for NCEA levels One and Three – “Studying and Researching Rewi Alley” have been prepared and are available for promotion to schools.  [The National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) is the main national qualification for secondary school students in New Zealand].

These units have been developed and funded by the Society under the Rewi Alley Friendship and Exchanges Fund  as part of the 120th Anniversary Commemorations of Rewi Alley’s birthday in 2017.

Branches are encouraged to follow this up with schools they know have an interest in China.
