Welcome to the Wairarapa Branch of the New Zealand China Friendship Society.
Members are drawn from throughout the Wairarapa Region, with one member working in China. Wairarapa is the 16th Branch of NZCFS, being inaugurated in 2001.
Most meetings are held in Masterton, they are infrequent.
Our President is a Masterton District Councillor who also chairs Masterton District Council’s International Relations Committee (Sister Cities NZ). A number of our NZCFS members are also members of this group which helps host those involved in Sister City exchanges,
Wairarapa Branch welcomes teenagers as well as young adults interested in modern-day China to join with retired people, many of whom have worked and travelled extensively throughout China.
