Two scholars, Wang Xue jun and Zhu Caixia, were selected in 2012, from Shandan, Gansu Province. They are studying well and achieving good reports. Two students were selected as they were both excellent candidates, and it has also provided them with mutual support as they are training in Nanchang, many thousands of kilometers from their hometown. They also had to make considerable adjustments from rural Shandan to life in a large city. They have been visited by NZCFS President Dave Bromwich, and also members of NZCFS and Tour delegates.
