1 October – Shanghai Expo Follow-up 上海世博会后续
Speaker: Hazel Xiao – Came to study at VUW for a Master degree of Public Management early this year, Hazel was born in Shanghai. She gained a degree of Exhibition Management in China. She is interested in exhibition, piano and sports. She will give an 30- minute review of the Shanghai Expo in a relaxed and interactive way.
8 October – Tea Appreciation 茶艺
Presenter: Lihong Huang – Lihong is well settled in Wellington as an accountant. At her spare time, she is busy doing photograph and tea appreciation. She will bring us an enjoyable and interesting hands on experience of making and drinking Chinese tea.
29 October – Er Hu 二胡 (Chinese violin)
Presenter: Mr Xingang Huang – Many of us would have enjoyed the lovely music played by this retired Chinese teacher at the Railway Station, Lambton Quay and other occasions. Er Hu is his hobby. He will give a demonstration and people can have a try if interested in this Chinese violin.
