If you’ve ever wanted to visit China, now is your chance!
The Society’s 60th Anniversary Raffle closes soon and the first prize is a trip to Shanghai for two with Air New Zealand.
Tickets are available for $5 each from all branch presidents or secretaries and also Heiko Lade (National Secretary).
The raffle, whose purpose is to raise capital for the Society, has three great prizes:
1st: 2 Return economy airfares to China (Shanghai), these include domestic connections within New Zealand – kindly donated by Air New Zealand
2nd: Set of 8 Stoneline cooking pots and frying pan
3rd: A hand-painted Chinese scroll
Remember, the branch gets to keep $1 for each ticket sold.
The raffle will be drawn on 1st October (Monday) at the Pearl Garden Restaurant, Newmarket, Auckland http://www.pearlgarden.co.nz/ [location map: http://goo.gl/maps/lDO7A], on the occasion of Auckland branch’s dinner in celebration of China National Day.

We will be meeting at 6:30. Cost is $40 a head and Air New Zealand representatives will be attending and other Consulate staff and other prominent people have been invited.
