In this Year of the Pig, the Winston Churchill NZ China Friendship Society partnered Fellowship is again offered for travel and study in China.
The Fellowship helps people travel to China to learn from others and study topics that will:
- Advance their industry/sector and
- Benefit NZ and Chinese understandings and relationships
The synergies that benefit both countries depend on the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and NZCFS working together to promote information about the Fellowship and its recognition and esteem in our communities.
Whilst the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust provides the infrastructure of a selection process that is robust, regulated by law and has official recognition and esteem, we ask our NZCFS members to assist by using your large networks for promotion and publicity of our partnership.
Applications open on May 1st and close 31st July 2019, with decisions made in September, 2019. Travel must be undertaken in 2020. Please click here HERE for more information.
In 2017 Diana Coop travelled to China, researching the systems and processes used by museums when loaning cultural artefacts to NZ. Here Diana Coop meets Mr Zhou, an 85 year old studio Master from Suzhou Museum.
