You are invited to attend our annual dinner to raise funds for the He Ming Qing (Kathleen Hall) Memorial Scholarship which supports three nursing students from poor rural areas in China, to enable them to complete their studies and return to work in their community.
Kathleen Hall was a New Zealand nurse famous for her exploits in carrying medical supplies through the Japanese lines during the Chinese – Japanese war and also for her years of nursing in a very poor village in northern China.
