This delegation of four from the Business College of Shanxi University, Taiyuan, was only in New Zealand for 24 hours but came down to Hamilton for a visit to University of Waikato. The visitors included:
Prof XU Zhong An, Head of the Delegation, and President of the College;
Prof WU Jian She, Deputy-Director of Academic Division;
Prof GUO Xin Ping, Dean of International Office;
Dr ZHANG Fen Xi, Delegation Interpreter, and Assoc Dean of International Office.
This College has over 1000 faculty and staff members, and over 13,000 students. The delegation kindly invited Miao, Jenevere, Stan and Ian to lunch at Master House Restaurant to introduce themselves. Dr Zhang is a PhD graduate of Sydney University and was already well known to Miao – they were next door neighbours in Taiyuan!
