This is a speech delivered by NZCFS President Dave Bromwich at an international webinar titled “ The success of Chinese Policy against Extremism in Xinjiang” held by the Pak-China Centre for Friendship and Cooperation on September 2.
Titled “Xinjiang: Let’s Seek Truth from Fact”, this presentation deconstructs some of the statements often presented in western media. There were four presenters from Pakistan, and four international – one from each of New Zealand, China, France and USA. It was stated clearly that these views represent neither NZCFS or its members.
